In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records, preparing reports, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and edit the organization's quarterly and annual financial reports, including the balance sheet and profit and loss statement.
• Create and review reports for short periods to analyze the organization's current financial situation.
• Conduct financial forecasts for short and long periods, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the development of the organization's full budget and monitor spending to align with planned objectives.
• Supervise the accounting processes, internal controls, and ensure accurate and timely tax payments (VAT, income tax, duties, national insurance).
• Manage debt collection efforts, ensuring timely and efficient recovery of outstanding payments.
• Play a significant role in the finance department, providing accurate financial information to support informed decision-making within the organization.
• Contribute to the organization's success by providing essential financial insights that aid in making sound and beneficial decisions.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate financial data and identify trends and opportunities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
