A newly formed medical device company is seeking for a R&D engineer who will join the R&D team and lead design & development tasks and activities About the company • The company is developing a novel implantable device in the field of Women’s Health • The company is located in Nazareth and funded under an incubation program at NGT HealthCare Principle Responsibilities/Duties • Follow design & development process in front of external design house – review and manage revisions for all 3D models and drawings • Execute prototype lab/bench tests – keep organized records and document technical reports • Lead & document design control activities from concept to verification & validation • Lead & document design review and risk management meetings • Manage external subcontractors/labs involved in production and testing of prototypes Desirable Skills & Qualities • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical / Biomedical engineering with min 3 years of experience in the medical device field • Demonstrated ability to work hands-on in the development of prototypes and execution of lab/bench tests • Experience of Medical Device requirements and understanding of Design Control processes • Good technology knowledge of Nitinol (Ni-Ti) material properties, design and processing methods for implants • Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks) along with MS-Office software • Driven, self-organized and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills • Strong verbal and documentation skills in English Contact: info@intimo-medical.com
