JOB TITLE: Senior Linux Kernel Engineer REPORTS TO: Linux Team Leader LOCATION: Yokneam REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals • C programming experience in RT environment – at least 3 years • Experience in BSP and device drivers • Familiarity with embedded software • Knowledge of scripting (e.g. with BASH) • Knowledge of Linux distributions. Ubuntu is an advantage • Knowledge of Networking at L1/L2 is an advantage • Experience from the Semiconductor industry in an advantage • Past experience in lab is an advantage • Good planning, time management, communications, decision-making, presentation and organization skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and good cross team working abilities. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • B.Sc or M.Sc in Electronic Engineering or Software • Graduate with praise (cum laude) is preferable • Experience and success in developing software for communication products
