Position description A Cloud Production Engineer will be part of a dynamic team, working with cutting edge technologies. The team is responsible for the virtual Linux environment comprised of more than 300 servers and the fast growing of multi datacenter in different locations worldwide. Responsibilities Deploy and operate the cloud infrastructure and implement services in the company’s data centers Position, operate and support of the virtual Linux environments Provide support and monitor for the company's production services Participate in an on-call rotation of 24/7 support coverage of the company’s services Work with engineers and systems architects on infrastructure projects Escalates support requests according to escalation procedures Create information security policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. Performing security activities and reviews. Reviewing new security updates, new vulnerabilities and define the relevancy. Perform security assessment, security testing, risk assessment and penetration tests to the company's products and infrastructures Requirements Relevant education BSc degree graduate in a relevant field or equivalent technical training. Security certification – benefit Professional experience Knowledge in Unix/Linux administration experience Good ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in order to maintain required productivity levels Hands on experience operating web based applications, Experience in identifying, troubleshooting and administering an IT network and storage solutions Languages English at a very high level both written and spoken Additional languages will be considered an advantage Important skills / characteristics Excellent communication skills Must be a team player and able and willing to put in a lot of effort Residency in Jerusalem – an advantage
